When is it happening…

Join us between 11.00am – 2.30pm on Friday 2nd August.

Where is it happening…

We’re heading to Lacock in Wiltshire where many scenes from Harry Potter were filmed.

What’s on offer…

The National Trust have kindly given us access to their Manger Barn with a lovely grassed area to the side. This is situated in a private area of the grounds. We’ll base ourselves here for our picnic and then those that want to, can walk over to the Cloisters with a National Trust volunteer who can show us around. We’ll have a few Harry Potter themed games as well as a couple of crafts. If wet, we’ll base ourselves in the Barn and if dry, we can be outside.

What to bring…

Don’t forget to bring a picnic for your family. We can use chairs from the barn. We’ll have water with us to refill your water bottles.

Parking…

Please follow brown signs for parking when entering the village. This will take you to the National Trust car park located on Hither Way, Lacock. What3words: https://w3w.co/grips.shaver.included. This car park is situated 200m from the main entrance. This route is fully accessible with the path made up of compacted gravel. If you feel this distance isn’t doable, please make a note of this on your sign up form and we will get back to you.

Other useful information…

We’ll be bringing in a portable Changing Places toilet for Jessie May families.
We’ll do everything we can to inform you of any trip hazards however please be aware that this is a historical building and grounds and some hazards are unavoidable. The National Trust’s access statement can be found here.
