What is Children’s Hospice Week?
Children’s Hospice Week is Together for Short Live’s annual awareness week for children’s hospices and palliative care services. From 15-21 June 2026 join us on a journey to precious moments. Let’s discover your local children’s hospice together. At Jessie May, we provide specialist nursing care at home for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across the South West. Your support helps families make precious memories together and receive vital care when they need it most.
We are looking for corporate charity partnerships to help support local hospice care.
Why we celebrate Children’s Hospice Week
Children’s hospices are amazing. But what would life be like without them? At the moment, there simply isn’t enough money or staff to provide all the lifeline care seriously ill children need during their short lives.
Get In Touch
We’d love to support your fundraising plans, so do get in touch for further ideas, key messaging and resources.
How to get involved?
Ask staff to wear purple for the day and donate £2 to take part.
Tag a team photo on your socials to spread the fundraising spirit.
Host a bake sale, coffee morning, or friendly baking competition.
Tasty treats for all while supporting a great cause
Encourage teams to bring in their lunch, drinks and snacks for the day or week, and donate the money they would usually spend on takeaway coffee or lunch.
Simple office games work brilliantly:
– Guess the sweets in the jar
– Guess the teddy’s name
– Guess the baby photo competition
Set a collective challenge such as:
– 100 miles walked in a week
– Steps challenge
– Static cycle challenge
And invite friends, family & colleagues to sponsor you.
Ask local businesses or colleagues to donate prizes and run a quick fundraising raffle.
Host a lunchtime or after-work quiz either in person or online.
