On 9th October 2024,we held our first open day at Jessie May, giving us a great opportunity to connect our partners, or prospective partners with trustees and team members. Guests were welcomed with coffee and were welcomed into the office for a quick tour and a chat with member of the team. Daniel, our CEO, and Kim, our partnerships executive, held a presentation to get into the history of our charity and share a vision for the future. A vision only made possible by the help of of fantastic partners.
Daniel expressed his appreciation, saying, “It was wonderful to welcome so many friends, partners, and supporters of Jessie May to our offices. While it didn’t take too long to tour the office, a lot of time was spent talking about the charity and the essential work that our palliative care nurses do in supporting children, young people, and their families at home.” His words captured the spirit of the day and highlighted our commitment to making a difference in the community.
Gemma from Peer Tree Recruitment also shared her thoughts: “I’ve worked closely with Jessie May for a few years now, but having the opportunity to come to the office and meet the wider team, trustees, and other supporters was truly inspiring. The open morning was friendly and informative, providing deeper insight into the incredible work Jessie May does.” Her feedback reflects the positive atmosphere and the importance of community support.
