We recently hosted our very own “I’m Not a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” fundraising event, inspired by the popular TV show. Participants faced a series of entertaining and challenging tasks, including digging through cereal boxes filled with baked beans and plastic spiders, and the infamous ‘Piranha Shot’ eating challenge. They also navigated bizarre challenges like fishing stars from a bowl of spaghetti and jelly, all while blindfolded and using only their feet. The event was a resounding success, with funds raised directly supporting Jessie May’s essential services, which provide home-based care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
As of now, the total amount raised stands at £3,359. However, there’s still time to contribute. Donations can be made via JustGiving and Text to Donate until February 19th. Supporters can donate by texting the following codes to 70450:
