Step into the enchanting world of Narnia with us as we look back on the extraordinary evening of our 2024 Charity Dinner, held in the captivating Bristol Museum. It was a night filled with wonder, warmth, and unwavering support for Jessie May, Children’s Hospice at Home.
The theme of Narnia brought a touch of magic to the event, setting the stage for an unforgettable gathering in aid of our cause. Together, we raised an impressive £24,868, a testament to the generosity and compassion of our community.
Guiding us through the evening was the charismatic BBC radio host, Paris Troy, whose presence added an extra layer of excitement and energy to the event. We were honored to hear inspiring speeches from our CEO, Daniel Cheesman, as well as engage in a thought-provoking Q&A session with our founder, Philippa Brownjohn. Their words reminded us of the importance of our mission and the impact of our work in providing vital at-home support for children with life-limiting conditions.
One of the highlights of the evening was the announcement of our annual ‘Above and Beyond’ award, recognising the extraordinary efforts of Lloyd Kembrey and his remarkable 12 Challenge Team. Their dedication and commitment to making a difference serve as an inspiration to us all.
Amidst delicious food, delightful company, and dancing, the spirit of generosity and compassion shone brightly. Every moment of the evening was a celebration of love, kindness, and the power of community coming together for a common cause.
As we reflect on this magical night, we are filled with gratitude for all who attended, supported, and contributed to the success of our Charity Dinner. Your generosity enables us to continue our mission of providing comfort, care, and support to children and families in their time of need.
If you feel called to join us in this important journey, we invite you to consider becoming a supporter of Jessie May today. Your support makes a real difference in the lives of those we serve. Together, we can create a brighter future for children and families facing life-limiting conditions.
Thank you for being a part of our story and for helping us spread love, hope, and compassion to those who need it most.
