On a gloriously sunny Tuesday 13th August, around 35 of our families from across the South West took over Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park for the annual family fun day!

Families were able to have free roam of the park and everything it had to offer with complimentary Adventure Passes provided by Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park and Jessie May. The children were able to get up close to all of the animals, even experiencing their own private meet and greet sessions with some of the furrier members of the park, Blossom the rabbit was a real hit!

Chief Executive at Jessie May, Chris Roys was full of praise in talking about the day; “The annual Family Fun Day is a key event in the Jessie May calendar, where all of our families have the chance to come together and experience something out of the normal day-to-day. To be able to hold it at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park again this year meant that we could offer our families a day of fun-filled variety, distracting them from the stresses and worries that they have in their lives, and we are so thankful to everyone involved, who’s hard work made it our best event yet.

Jessie May is a charity that we are proud to have a long-standing relationship with, and who we love to continue to support and work with. We hope that the Family Fun Day helped to put smiles on the faces of the children, and that all the families were able to take away some precious memories.” echoes CEO and Owner of Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park, Doug Douglas

A number of specialist provisions were put in to place to make sure the day ran as smoothly as possible for families, including the appearance of a mobile accessible toilet courtesy of Mobiloo.

To have the use of a Mobiloo at Avon Valley really made all the difference for our families, allowing them to enjoy their day without any added worries. Families would have somewhere they could use the toilet or get changed with the dignity and respect that every individual deserves. Thank you to Mobiloo, and Matt in particular who manned the truck for the whole day – all while keeping a smile on his face!” Chris commented.
