Tobogganing

This event will take place on Saturday 7th February 2026, in the afternoon. 

We have privately hired the tobogganing slope for two hours, allowing siblings to take part in a one-hour tobogganing session at either 2pm or 3pm. 

Mendip Activity Centre can be found in the Mendip Hills near Churchill, North Somerset.

Siblings are invited to enjoy a fun tobogganing session designed especially for them. This sibling-only session gives children and young people the chance to take part in an exciting activity, have fun, and spend time with others who may share similar family experiences. 

After the tobogganing session, all are welcome to stay and join us for refreshments, offering a relaxed opportunity to chat and spend time together. 

This event is open to siblings aged 4 years and older. 

All are invited to join us for light refreshments at the end of your session.  

There is plenty of free parking on site.

We have a limited capacity so will operate on a first come, first served basis.  

Upon signing up, you will receive an email confirming your space.  We’ll confirm your tobogganing time once all spaces have been filled.

The venue requires all those tobogganing to wear gloves. Please bring these with you.  Arms and legs also need to be fully covered.  

As this is an outdoor activity, please dress appropriately for the weather. 

A short briefing will take place before each session begins (2pm and 3pm), so please arrive promptly to allow as much time as possible for tobogganing.

Children remain the responsibility of parents/carers at all times.  Jessie May nurses and staff will be present for assistance only.  

During the briefing, you will be asked to sign a waiver / medical declaration.
