One of our calendar highlights returned this weekend – the much-loved Castle Combe Steam Rally!
The 34th Castle Combe Steam Rally once again brought the community – and an exciting array of steam engines and vintage vehicles! – together at Castle Combe Race Circuit on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May.
The event has kindly supported Jessie May since 2015 and we were thrilled to return to the race circuit once again on Saturday. Both days were filled with entertainment and lots of fun, featuring steam engines, vintage vehicles and machinery and much more!
We had a wonderful weekend at the Castle Combe Steam Rally and are delighted to reveal £1,835.73 was raised for Jessie May over both days!
This is an incredible boost in funding for our charity and we’d like to express our thanks to everyone involved in another hugely successful fundraiser, including the steam rally committee, Optimum Mobility Malmesbury who also collected for us, and of course everyone who came along! Since 2015, this popular event has raised over £18,200 for Jessie May – an astounding amount of funding which has made the world of difference to the families our nurses are supporting.
What a fantastic weekend! We hope everyone who came along had as much fun as the Jessie May team of staff and volunteers did!
