Melody Makers Choir
Melody Makers Choir is a fun pop and rock choir for men and women based in Henleaze, Westbury on Trym and Stoke Gifford, Bristol. Over the past five years, the choir have gone from strength to strength with their charity single making number 6 on the Amazon music charts (We Are The Same Inside).
Their sell out performances guarantee a great night out with their live band of professional musicians and they regularly perform and busk at many events throughout the year. The choir is open to anyone who enjoys singing and choir leader Natalie Veal encourages anyone to give it a go – ‘Music is our universal language. Singing is our act. Friendship, togetherness and music is our product. At choir, we are all equally valued, whatever your race, gender, age, disability, religion or sexual orientation. Everyone is welcome to sing with us.’
In lockdown, the choir continues to rehearse online and will resume face to face rehearsals as soon as they are able. The choir have been supporting Jessie May throughout this year and have raised around £3,000 by holding a raffle and producing some fantastic virtual recordings.
