Marks and Spencer is raising smiles and much needed funds for seriously ill children this Christmas, as part of a special partnership between M&S Food and the UK children’s charity Together for Short Lives.

M&S has teamed up with 12 of the UK’s BEST loved comedians to create the funniest crackers you’ll pull this Christmas – ‘The World’s Funniest Crackers’ at £15 for 12.

Working alongside their charity partner, Together for Short Lives, the sale of these crackers will help M&S donate £100,000 to support the amazing 54 children’s hospices in the UK, including Jessie May. The proceeds from these crackers will help families live, laugh and love for every moment they have together this Christmas and beyond.

The 12 cracking celebrities include some of the UK’s best loved comedians, from Dawn French, Paddy McGuinness and David Walliams, to Keith Lemon and Omid Djalili – all of whom have donated one of their funniest of jokes.

Plus M&S and Jessie May are calling on you to be the funniest comedian of them all, taking inspiration from ‘The World’s Funniest Crackers’ and raising vital funds for families:

Post your own cracker of a joke on social media using #GiveLaughLove and bring a smile to a family’s face by texting LAUGH 5 or the amount of your choice to 70470. Don’t forget to nominate your friends to do the same! Texts cost £5 plus one standard rate message.

There’s plenty of other ways to support your local children’s hospice at your local M&S Food too:

  • M&S’ charity Christmas cards are raising money for Together for Short Lives and children’s hospices like Jessie May this year.
  • A portion of M&S’ festive food on the go will support seriously ill children. Enjoy a taste of Christmas, wherever you are, with this year’s must-try festive sarnies, knowing that while it tastes good, you’re doing good.
  • You can also nominate Together for Short Lives as your chosen Sparks card charity. Every time you shop, M&S will donate 1p to support UK children’s hospices.
