We’d like to thank everyone that supported our raffle this year and give you an update on the amazing prize – two tickets to the World Championship Finals at the Crucible. To date we have raised £5,620 from the raffle which has enabled Jessie May nurses to provide nursing support for terminally ill children in their own homes. We can’t thank you enough!
We were devastated to hear the news at the weekend that the Championships were now being played behind closed doors, especially after the huge amount of work from the Snooker team to make the Crucible a safe environment for fans and players and sadly we have had to suspend the sale of our raffle tickets for this years final.
We have discussed if there was another prize we could offer in lieu of this prize, and we think you’ll agree…..there isn’t! Therefore we will be drawing a winner from the tickets already sold on Friday 14th August 2020 at 12 noon and the prize will be two tickets to the finals in 2021.
We are so disappointed that we cannot offer the seats this year but hope that you will agree being the first to have tickets to next years final will be incredible. We hope that you will be happy with your donation being used to support our families, however if you would like to discuss a refund for tickets purchased please could you email us (fundraising@jessiemay.org.uk) with your contact details and we’ll be in touch.
A HUGE thank you to every single one of you, we’d loved meeting you at the various tournaments this season, we’ve had some wonderful conversations with you all and look forward to seeing you in the 20/21 season, when Yes! You’ve guessed it , we’ll have 2 more tickets to the finals to raffle.
