Lydiard Park Family Picnic

Join us between 11.00am – 2.00pm on Thursday 25th July. We’ll make a call at 10am on picnic day regarding the weather. If you don’t hear from us, consider it’s all systems go!

We’re heading to Lydiard Park.

We’ll base ourselves on the field however the park won’t be far away. We’ll bring some garden games and no picnic is complete without ice cream. We’ll also bring some familiar Jessie May nurses with us too!

Don’t forget to bring a picnic for your family, a blanket or camping chairs and sun protection. We’ll have water with us to refill your water bottles.

We recommend you head for Lydiard Park car park, via Hook Street. Follow the brown signs to Lydiard Park. What3words: ///giant.compiled.postings
There are several accessible parking spaces in this car park which are free to Blue Badge holders. Regular parking is charged at £2.20 for up to 2 hours or £4.60 for the day. You can use machines or via the Paybyphone app (car park code 59282).
There is additional parking (if needed) on the other side of the park, you’ll just need to follow the brown signs to Lydiard House & Church.

There’s now a changing places toilet at the park, right next to the playground. There’s also going to be a temporary small fairground which will be at the park while we’re there.
