On the day we’ll be welcoming the appointment of our new CEO, Daniel Cheesman who will be launching our new 5 Year Strategy for 2022 and beyond, whilst wishing Chris Roys all the best in his retirement.
Welcome drinks will be available upon arrival, with speeches from a number of Jessie May representatives and a special presentation, all topped off with a truly scrumptious afternoon tea including some zoo-themed specials.
As well as the above, you will be able to experience all that Bristol Zoo has to offer for one last time before they close their doors on Monday 5th September, with access to the entire gardens and animal houses – take in the sights of the flamboyant flamingos, sounds of the iconic lions and soak in a piece of true Bristol history.
Schedule of Day:
1:30pm – Arrival at the Clifton Pavilion with welcome drinks and meet and greet with Jessie May staff
2-3pm – Afternoon tea served, followed by speeches from key Jessie May individuals and presentation to Chris
3:30pm – 5:00pm – Free time to mingle with staff and other event attendees, as well as open access to have a look around the zoo (map available to download below or copies will be available on the day)
5:30pm – Come back to the Clifton Pavilion to say goodbye to Chris and Jessie May staff, or feel free to exit the zoo via the main exit through the gift shop
